LINZ

Acoustic meeting pods allow for privacy within this open plan government office.

Government office encourages productivity

Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) makes sure New Zealand has accurate information about where people and places are, gives people confidence in their property rights and ensures Crown property is well managed for future generations.

LINZ has a new open plan environment, including an agile collaboration hub, at their Wellington headquarters to encourage productivity within the organisation.

ABW (Activity Based Working) principles were introduced in 2017 to provide freedom of choice in how, when, and where people work, helping them to be more productive and engaged.

Acoustic pods allow teams to focus

LINZ worked with Catalyst and Haworth by Europlan on the furniture selections. Breakout spaces and informal meeting spaces include acoustic meeting pods and custom wall panels which offer a degree of acoustic and visual privacy within the open plan office. This allows teams to meet and collaborate within the space without causing distraction to others who are trying to concentrate. Integrated computer monitors and easy access to power and data, create a technologically effective and agile workspace for the LINZ team.
